On Tuesday, August 6th, from 8pm, we will be selling Koichi Iinuma's "LAVA" POT and "Kagayaki" POT.
Iinuma began his career as a potter at the age of 37, and built his kiln in Kasama at the age of 40.
He has won numerous awards and has participated in a wide range of solo and group exhibitions.
I continue to exhibit my work.
They produce a wide range of pottery, from highly artistic pieces to items for everyday use.
This time, we will be releasing two different series.
This is "LAVA POT".
This piece makes use of the texture of the clay and glaze and combines the patterns and forms of the pores and bubbles that are created in the fire.
Depending on how the light hits it, it is a piece that shines brightly and has a strong presence.
This is the " Shining Brightness " POT .
This piece is made using coarse-grained clay and silver, allowing the vessel to transcend time and space, and expresses the "end of silver."
Each piece has a shiny, bronze-like finish, and you can enjoy the different expressions of each piece.
It will go on sale from 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6th.
Thank you very much.
