The name is named after the Yatagarasu, a bird that is said to have guided people when they were lost in ancient times.
We chose this name with the hope that this is an auspicious pot that will guide your plants in the right direction!
The YATAGARASU series offers works based on the concept of "simple, easy-to-use pots" in keeping with HACHILABO's philosophy of "coexisting while making the most of each other's individuality."

    第3ワームホール ：com（コム）third wormhole：com 益子でヤギやネコと暮らしながら絵を描き、額縁を製作しています。額縁は絵を引き立てるもので、本来主張してはいけないのかもしれません。でも、額縁がないと絵は、まるで宇宙服を着ずに宇宙に放り出されたみたいに心もとない。決して主張しない奥ゆかしさと、絵を包み外へ押し出す力をくれる額縁に憧れて、自分で作ってみることにしました。 植物を額装することで、まるで別の世界への窓ができたみたいで、日常と非日常が混在するのが面白いと思いました。

    18歳の時から陶芸を始め、地元徳島の大谷焼きで２年、
愛知県瀬戸市の赤津焼きで4年、オーストラリアMalcolm Greenwood氏の元で
１年下積みをした後独立。 下積み時代は食器や花器をメインに作陶され、
独立後は食器をメインに製作していたが、
32歳の時にアガベに出会い心惹かれ鉢作家へ。 植物は育てる人により多種多様な一面を見せてくれます。
癒しであり、オブジェであり、インテリアであり、仕事であり、家族にもなりえます。
貴方と共に根を張り生きている植物に寄り添う鉢になるよう、
徳島県の小さな工房で１鉢１鉢心を込めて作陶されています。
