HIDEAKI NUMANO
black_wrap-POT All handmade
This piece is characterised by its unique shinogi pattern, the shine of the glaze and the jet black matte texture.
Slit pots have excellent ventilation and drainage properties,
The roots near the slits sense the light and stop growing.
New roots come down from above and prevent circling.
It is said that this has the effect of allowing many roots to form.
Please note that there may be individual differences in texture (expression).
*When rinsing with water, limescale marks may appear on the slits.
If you are concerned, apply gauze or tissue soaked in citric acid.
Please try letting Quen soak in and then rubbing it off to remove the limescale.
