SOTTAKU KILN MAKITO KAWAI
Raster POT (all handmade)
This pot is made from Kyoto's beautiful red clay and combines jet black matte glaze and glossy glaze.
Kyoto's red clay has a fine grain, and its brown color has a unique flavor. The luster glaze on top goes well with the jet black, so please enjoy the moist glaze color.
All are one-of-a-kind original pieces.
*Please note that we cannot accept cancellations for one-of-a-kind items.
*The diffuser is photographed together for size comparison. Please note that this is not sold as a set.

He studied under Tadashi Kawai in Kyoto and after eight years of training, he established Sotsutaku Kiln in Tokyo.
Aiming to create "pottery that can be made in Tokyo," he continues to present installations that bring to fruition images that freely shift from architectural shapes to abstraction and then concrete form.
