ASOBO POT (all handmade)
ASOBO POT is fired at the Asobo Kiln, located in the depths of Mount Aso.
It is made from Aso soil, which has natural water retention and absorbency properties.
With a focus on "volcanic origins," the unique pieces are made by scooping up and kneading local materials such as soil, lava, volcanic ash, wood ash, plants, and mud.
The glaze of volcanic ash and plants that falls on the Aso soil,
You never tire of looking at the natural expressions of nature itself.
Made from Aso red clay, this look is created by combining lava glaze and ash glaze and finishing with a thick glaze.
There may be some cracks that occur during firing, but please rest assured that they are not breaks.
All are one-of-a-kind original pieces.
